This dataset contains the future land use information for Outagamie County. The future land use is projected to the year 2030.
This data was created to asssist governmental agencies and other in making resource management decisions through the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS).
Data have been coded and modified to match ECWRPC Digital Map Data Standards. To obtain a copy, contact the Distributor listed under Distribution Information.

Outagamie County provided various dwgs that consisted of layers to build the base for the land use by municipality.
The land use covers that were built from the dwgs that Outagamie County provided were all converted to ArcInfo 8.0 coverages. They were then checked for like items and appended together using the mapjoin command to keep coding and topology. The coverage was checked for labelerrors and cleaned at the town boundary lines for unifomity. Outagamie County updated the dataset by cross referencing and adjusting to match local municipal future land use plans.
